Getting Around with Mobility Support
Whether you’re using a stroller-as-wheelchair, a scooter, or a manual wheelchair, Universal Orlando makes it possible to explore all four parks with ease. And as your travel advisor, I go one step further, I help you arrange mobility devices and medical equipment delivered directly to your hotel for your entire stay. No hauling, no stress. Just comfort and convenience from day one.

🛍️ Where to Rent Scooters, Wheelchairs & Strollers
🛵 In-Park Rentals Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure, and Epic Universe all offer scooter (ECV), wheelchair, and stroller rentals just inside the entrance, to the left of the gates. Rentals are first-come, first-served, so I always recommend arriving early if you plan to rent on-site.

🧳 Third-Party Rentals Want to use your mobility device across multiple parks and resorts? I help families book through trusted providers like Scootaround and Buena Vista Scooters, who deliver directly to your hotel. You’ll have your device ready when you arrive—and you can use it throughout your entire trip, including CityWalk and hotel grounds.
🍼 Stroller-as-Wheelchair Option If your child uses a stroller for mobility, Universal allows strollers-as-wheelchairs with proper labeling. I help you get the right documentation and make sure your stroller is approved for transport and attraction access.

🚻 Bathrooms, Companion Restrooms & Adult Changing Tables
Universal Orlando offers companion restrooms in every park private, spacious, and designed for dignity. These are perfect for families who need assistance or privacy, and I help you locate them in advance so you’re never scrambling.
🧼 Adult Changing Tables
While not available in every restroom, Universal is working toward more inclusive facilities. The Quiet Room near Health Services in Universal Studios Florida includes a low-stimulation space with soft lighting and sensory-friendly design.

🔁 Rider Swap: Making Thrills Work for Every Family
Universal’s Rider Swap program is a lifesaver for families with different age ranges or mobility needs. Here’s how it works:
👨👩👧👦 One adult waits with the child who isn’t riding while the rest of the group enjoys the attraction.
🔁 Then they swap without waiting in line again.
🧑🤝🧑 Team Members are trained to guide you through the process with kindness and clarity.
I help you plan your day around Rider Swap so everyone gets a turn and no one feels left out. It’s smooth, simple, and built for real families.
💖 You’re not just visiting a theme park you’re creating memories. And with the right support, those memories can be joyful, inclusive, and stress-free. I’ve walked these paths, asked the questions, and found the quiet corners. Now I’m here to help you do the same.
✨ Up next in this series: Dining Without Drama your guide to sensory-friendly meals, allergy-safe options, and the restaurants that made my family feel truly welcome.
Let’s keep building the magic. You’ve got this and I’ve got you.
